چکیده
Hantaviridae currently encompasses seven genera and 53 species. Multiple hantaviruses such as Hantaan virus, Seoul Dobrava-Belgrade Puumala Andes Sin Nombre virus are highly pathogenic to humans. They cause hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) hantavirus cardiopulmonary or pulmonary (HCPS/HPS) in many countries. Some infect wild domestic animals without causing severe symptoms. Rodents, shrews, bats reservoirs of various mammalian hantaviruses. Recent years have witnessed significant advancements the study including genomics, taxonomy, evolution, replication, transmission, pathogenicity, control, patient treatment. Additionally, new infecting bats, rodents, amphibians, fish been identified. This review compiles these aid researchers public better recognizing this zoonotic family global health significance.

متن کاملThe global public health significance of Plasmodium vivax.
Plasmodium vivax occurs globally and thrives in both temperate and tropical climates. Here, we review the evidence of the biological limits of its contemporary distribution and the global population at risk (PAR) of the disease within endemic countries. We also review the most recent evidence for the endemic level of transmission within its range and discuss the implications for burden of disea...

The worldwide prevalence of geohelminths and their unique place in evolutionary biology have attracted research focus. These major soil-transmitted intestinal nematodes that cause human diseases are the nematode roundworm (Ascaris lumbricoides), the whipworm (Trichuris trichiura) and the two hookworms (Ancylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus), often collectively referred as geohelminths.
